Day Twenty...

Plateau, Plateau, Plateau... -0.0 lbs!  So annoying!  But, I packed my food for the day and we went up to Snowbird and took the kids on the Alpine slides, Ziplines, etc. The picture above is from today.  I was disappointed about the plateau but, I could see huge difference in my face and arms compared to the picture at the top of the blog. That is why we keep going:) It was a nice day.  They were having some sort of Octoberfest.  The smells of roasted nuts, cinnamon rolls, and pretzels were a little hard to take.  I was not hungry, but oh how I wanted some :)  Instead I pulled out my lunch box of romaine, chicken, melba, and orange.   It tasted good, but not cinnamon roll good!

Here is what I ate today:
Morning: Yerba Mate Tea cold
Lunch: chicken, romaine, melba, orange
Dinner: tilapia, asparagus, strawberry choc smoothie
Eve: tea

Still debating the weighing every day thing.  Also considering cutting this round to 30 days, and doing 1-2 short rounds by the end of January to finish off.  Most people are getting the bulk of their results in the first 23-30 days, and also the longer you are carb restricted, the harder they are to re-introduce.  Probably will decide by Weds.  If tomorrow is another 0.0 then I will consider doing the apple day.  Doesn't sound very good, but if it gets things moving then I will conquer :)

Day Nineteen...

Down -.4 lbs.  Moving in the right direction.  Slow but moving :)  My friend and I have been toying around with the idea of weighing in once a week.  We don't cheat, and we know what we can and can't eat at this point.  We also know that the loses get much more sporadic from this point on and there will be more and more days with no loss or minor losses in between the bigger ones.  So instead of stressing or fretting over that, why not see one big move once a week??  No matter how prepared for no/minor losses, it still seems to knock you down a little mentally. Weds are when we measure so I think starting Weds we will weigh in and then test our theory out and wait a week for the next weigh in.

Day Eighteen...

Today must be a catch up day!  -0.0!  I was exactly the same as yesterday.  I knew this would be coming so I am not surprised at all.   I was reading P & I again, and it says that people who consistently lose a pound a day (like I have) for a long time, inevitably hit a plateau.  So this could be the beginning of my plateau or just a day for the body to catch up.

Here is what I ate today:
Morning: Tea hot
Mid Morning: Yerba Mate Tea cold
Lunch: spinach,eggs,strawberries
Dinner: romaine,chicken,melba,apple

Pretty good day.  Did LOTS of chores.  Went to the movies.  Always have to fight a little bit of mental stuff on days with no loss.  I know its normal and I don't even think much about it, but it seems like there is always about an hour where I feel depressed or crave, or feel like this will take forever.... but it always passes and I am back on a high! :)

Day 16...

Down - .4 lbs!  Might be starting to slow down a bit, but I'll take it.  Had a great time at volleyball last night.  Was tired by the end, came home and fell right asleep.  I had some sleeping issues before but they seem to be gone and I fall right to sleep which is nice.  My friend and I did some research and found that people who were mixing fresh HCG every week were getting better results and feeling better overall.  So we got rid of the rest of our HCG that was now over 2 weeks old and mixed for 1 week at a time.  Today was my first real day after injecting the new stuff yesterday.  I feel a big difference.  No hunger at all (like the first week), good energy. By day 11-12 on the last batch, I was noticing hunger in the am/pm and going up and down on energy.  I think this will be much better, and hopefully it will release an extra pound or two :)

Here is what I ate today:
Morning: Yerba Mate Tea cold
Lunch: chicken,tomato,strawberries
Dinner: orange roughy,tomato,strawberry choc smoothie
Eve: tea

Took a 30 minute bike ride before dinner.  Got alot done today and felt really good!

Day Fifteen...

Down -1.0 lbs!  Yeah!  I was worried the heavy excercise yesterday could hinder me, but thank goodness it didn't because I love to excercise.  I am going to try to play volleyball tonight... can't wait!  Today was good.  Not as high energy as yesterday, but still good. Went out to the movies with the hubby.  New Challenge: Restaurants!  I packed my chicken, apple, lemon, and melba and brought it with me.  I just ordered a plain side salad and put my chicken with crumbled melba on top.  Squeeze of lemon, salt and pepper, and I was good to go.  It was a little hard to watch the hubby eat burger and fries, but I could only eat my salad and about a quarter of my apple.  Which worked out, since I had the rest of my apple for the movie.  Excellent movie by the way: The Time Travlers Wife.

Here is what I ate today:
Morning: Yerba Mate Tea cold
Lunch: chicken,romaine,apple,melba
Dinner: orange roughy,tomato,orange

Thats about it.  It is 9pm and I am off to play my favorite sport: Volleyball!!  Let's hope I don't fall down from exhaustion! :)

Day Fourteen...

Down -1.0!  So happy to see that this morning :)  My son was so sweet last night, and made me my "soda" while I was in the hottub.  It was great.  I came back in and saw a packet of opened splenda on the counter and about passed out.  I started to panic and my son laughed at me and said "MOM, I know you use the green (stevia) packets!  Look in the trash, you'll see the empty one!"  Funny, who would have thought you could have a heart attack over a packet of splenda:)
Today was one of the euphoric days I had earlier in the week.  Massive energy, felt great, no hunger, it was awesome.  I tried going back to dance class. Extremely hard class.  I modified and made it thru the whole class.  I thought I was going to be shaky and starving by the time I was done, but it did the opposite.  I felt even better and did not want to eat until 2pm.  I love dance!

Here is what I ate today:
Morning:  Yerba Mate Tea  hot
Mid: Yerba Mate Tea cold
Lunch: Chicken,tomato,1/2 apple
Mid: 1/2 apple
Dinner: orange roughy,asparagus,strawberry choc smoothie.

Great day. Took a 20 min bike ride after dinner. Wish everyday was like this one.... :)
