To HCG....and Back!: R4 P3 D12...

R4 P3 D12...

Down another -0.4! That puts me at just +0.2 above LIW. I should have looked at the calendar when my weight went up earlier this week. TOM arrived this morning! I did not even think of that because usually when I come off of HCG I am anywhere from 1-3 weeks late getting started again. So you know what this means don't you.......... LET THE LOVE OF MUG CAKES CONTINUE! Today we are going to start cleaning out the garage. What an exciting way to spend the weekend. Oh well, one step closer to being done. I am off to have cake for breakfast and then get to work :)

Dear Jen - I can't express how much you have impacted my weight loss and the support you have given to my sister and I as we read your journal. Thank you for having the courage to share your awesome journey. I am sad for your loss of employment with PIA and the way it was handled by them however your professionalism and desire to serve others is above and beyond amazing. I am sure that PIA doesn't realize all the people you actually touch and encourage to take this path in loosing weight. You have the knowledge, power and strength to open your own weight loss clinic and support group. [hint hint] I am also sad because I have 2 more rounds to go, my sister has 1 and my husband wants to start this weekend. Where do we get the hCG drops now - I don't know if I trust PIA now and I don't want to buy their "package" I just need the drops. Any suggestions? Again thank you! Hello from Bothell and Gig Harbor! Kelly and Jen- Thank you so much for your support! It really means the world to me. It has been quite a journey, but an exciting one. Congrats on your and your sisters progress!! Keep going and don't give up! Right now you could buy your 2oz bottle of drops at DIYHCG.com. I believe the bottle is around $75 + shipping. It should last 30 days. I know this brand personally and know that it does work. I am sure I will be back working in the the HCG area soon and will let you know of any more options as soon as I can. That is so funny! I grew up in Bothell! I went to Cascade High and graduated from Lynnwood High. Small World :)

About Me

I lost 75 lbs between Jan. 9, 2009 and March 4th, 2010. I lost the first 35 on my own and then hit the plateau. I started my first round of HCG on Aug 19th, 2009 and finished my third round March 4th, 2010. I maintained that pretty well thru the end of the year. Then all hell broke loose and so did the diet :) I regained about 25lbs of the 75lbs I lost. I started HCG again, and then with a lot of research realized that maybe HCG was not the answer. I am now in the process of learning lifelong eating habits, and also learning more about my metabolism and how to make it more effective. This is my journey....

p2 Recipe Ideas

Almost Chili: Portion lean hamburger or chicken, portion tomato,salt, pepper, chili powder,cumin. Cook meat in frying pan. Add tomatoes and maybe a TBSP water and the spices. Simmer till heated thru. SO GOOD!
Strawberry Chocolate Sorbee/Slush: portion of FROZEN strawberries, 1/2-3/4 cup water, few ice cubes, 1 TBSP cocoa powder, stevia to taste. Blend until smooth. Need a really good blender or set strawberries out to thaw a little bit before hand. This was really good.
Strawberry Ice Cream: cottage cheese portion, frozen strawberry portion, stevia to taste, tbsp of milk if you haven't use it today, drop or two of vanilla. Blend until creamy. Might need tiny bit of water to get it going in the blender.
Lemon Icee: 1/2 lemon juiced, 1 cup water, 1 cup ice, 1 stevia packet, 1 strawberry optional. Put in blender until icee texture. Yum!
Dressing for Strawberry Spinach Salad: 1/2c water, 1/4 white vinegar, 3 packets stevia, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 1 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds. Spinach with chicken, strawberries and this dressing is great.
