R3 LM D18...

Okay, so I started off good.... I had really planned just to have one free hour :) The theory being you can only eat so much in one hour before you feel sick. We went to JCW for hawaiian burgers (no bun) and shared an order of cheese fries. But cheesecake factory is in the total opposite direction. So we picked those up and took them home. We shared our red velvet and raspberry lemon cheesecakes... YUM! Of course, I could eat way more since it had been several hours since the burgers. Then while watching the movie I had some of my sons candy, a couple pieces of sugar free chocolate, some peanut butter crackers, and some nuts! This morning I was up +1.4 :) So today I am eating regular, but cutting the carbs lower. I learned my lesson. I have not really given my self the freedom to just go crazy since last august unless I was loading! I think it went to me head a little and I couldn't stop :) I am going to really try to follow my hour rule this next Saturday and stick to it. Other than that I am going to continue my current eating and see if I can get to my adjusted LIW of 147.2! After being 3 weeks late last month, TOM is supposed to arrive this week between Tues and Fri, and that always throws a wrench in things, so we will see how it goes :)

  1. Hello! I've been lurking in your doorway for quite some time ;) Congrats on your sucess! I was noticing your 1-hour window. Can you tell me more about that? It reminds me of a diet I did way back when called the Carbohydrate Addict's Diet. You basically eat a very low-carb diet, but for 1 hour a day you can have anything you want. Is that what you plan on doing for maintenance?

  2. Hi there! I know what diet you are talking about, but I am just giving myself one hour a week to have what I want. That diet lets you have what you want one hour a day. I like knowing that if I am really good all week I can let loose a little:)

  3. That makes more sense! I love your blog, and have taken multiple recipes from it! I was wanting to ask about the carrot cake, I couldn't seem to find it (maybe it was real cc?) Also, I was noticing that we are a litle similar! I have also lost about 70 pounds, but have almost 30 more to get where you are. 145/150 is my goal. YOU LOOK AMAZING!! One big difference tho is I had a reduction a couple years ago. I lost nearly 10 pounds instantly, lol!

  4. Thanks so much for the compliments! :) The carrot cake is out of the almond flour gluten free cookbook by elana amsterdam. Everything in the book is awesome!! Congrats on your 70 pound loss! Feels so good to get if off once and for all. I must say I love my new "additions", but it would have been nice to lose when I got them instead of gain :)
