R4 P2 D12....

Down -1.4 lbs!! So excited to see that. I am now officially -1.2 into new territory! I am especially happy to see that after having to turn down everything at the family Labor Day barbeque. That was pretty hard. I also had miracle noodles yesterday to make sure I would be full, and there obviously was no issue. I also think there was an added boost with TOM leaving. Now I am off to work! Here is what I am having today:

40g Jay Robb 146.6
115g Straw 36.8
5g cocoa 10.0
4oz Tilapia 110.0
60g asparagus 15.0
215g apple 111.8

Total Calories: 430.2

  1. Another blog to follow that current. I'm a little shocked, I thought I was the only one.

Congrats on your weight so far and for the maintaining you've done! I'm so nervous about reaching that point considering all I can think about right now is chocolate and carbs. But I'm determined to stay strong.
Looking forward to see how you continue to progress.
    You are a serious inspiration.

  2. Congratulations! That is so awesome!

I am going to start a new round next Monday (9/13) and am thinking of trying the increased protein as you are doing. A few questions:

Do you weigh your meat (4oz) pre-cooking or post-cooking?

Do you ever eat your grissini/Melba toast?

Have you tried white tuna and found it to be okay?

Thank you for any help you can give! If e-mailing me back is easier, my e-mail is seattlerunnergirl at gmail.com

  3. HCG Journey-Thanks for the compliments :) I know how that first round can be. So exciting to see the pounds go, but so mentally tough to not give in to the cravings. You really should not be actually hungry. Mental/Craving hunger, Yes! Actual hunger, No! Your dose may be wrong if you are truly starving hungry. Don't give up. You will eventually lose your cravings all together, which is so nice, and one of the best benefits of HCG altogether. I was pretty good after my first round, but somewhere in the middle of my second round the cravings really left for good. Feel free to ask questions whenever! Good Luck :)

Seattle- Yea! Another groupie for this round :) I really think the increased protein is making a huge difference. I have no hunger at all. I use the Costco pre cooked chicken strips that are nothing but chicken and water. I just weigh 4oz on that. I also buy the bag of frozen tilapia from Costco. The fillets all weigh 4oz before cooking so I just use a whole one. I use Jay Robb protein powder as well. I use either 30g or 40g depending on which calorie count I want. The 30g is 110, and the 40g is 146.6. I have not used the tuna yet, but probably will pretty soon to give me some variety. The miracle noodles are great and super filling. I don't do the grissini/melba at all. Good luck!!

  4. Hey Jen P!! FANTASTIC!! Congratulations on your great loss today! And Congratulations on making it into new territory today!!

Where do you get the miracle noodles, and how do you prepare them? I might have to give them a 'go' this next round-

  5. You can get them at miraclenoodle.com. You just rinse them REALLY WELL, and then dry them. Just add them to whatever you are making. It takes on the flavor of whatever you put it in. I was so happy to see those numbers this morning!

  6. Thanks! I have more questions about them:

how do you measure a portion of the noodles? A cup? 1/2 cup?

And do they have calories to subtract from your daily total?

How often do you eat them while on P2?

  7. They come in bags floating in water. They smell fishy when you open them which is why you RINSE VERY WELL for 3-5 minutes under water and then dry them. There is probably about 1 cup in each bag. I have been using 3/4 of a bag in each meal I have made. I have had them this p2 twice so far. I know some people who use them everyday in P2. I have also used them in p3 to have pasta. They have no calories at all. They are pure vegetable fiber. I like to cut mine up in to 1 inch pieces and add to my chicken chili, or with my cabbage and chicken. Let me know if you try them. Beware, there are many versions of these out there but many are made with yam flour or different things that would not be approved. Hope that helps :)
