R2 P2 D20.....

Down -.6 lbs! TOM came in the middle of the night. I was fully prepared to accept my consequences this morning, and am relieved that I still had a loss :) As of today I am officially considered "NORMAL WEIGHT" by the U.S. Dept of Health! I am 154!!! Yipee!!

Here is what I ate today:

1/4 apple, grissini

protein shake with strawberries and spinach

grissini

tilapia, broccoli, baked apple

I was starving again until lunch, but better this afternoon and evening. I am also still freezing and dressing like an eskimo to go to bed :) We have had snow the last 2 days, so I am missing my walks. Guess it's time to turn on the treadmill.

  1. I hope I didn't give you any ideas as to why you cheated. But I will say that homemade sugar cookie was heaven!Sounds like you did o.k. though - still lost! It's funny - I skip my veggie all the time. I basically eat your shake and shrimp and my fruit. But man, I've made so many goodies for my kids and great dinners for everyone and just pass them by. So I'm glad you realize that you're not a failure. You are truly helping me through this. So, hopefully you completely enjoyed that pancake!!!!

I hit the 170's! Great! A new set of lower numbers!!!!

  2. I started in a 16 and right now I wear a 10! It is kind of annoying because I am so hour glass shaped. I have to buy pants to fit the widest part of my low hip/ butt area, while the waist is way smaller and the lower leg too. So the rest of me is probably an 8 except the that 4-5 inch region!!

I think being so perfect for so long, getting to the end of my round, and starting my period created the "perfect storm" for the cheat :) But I definitely did not go overboard and don't feel guilty. Instead it was sort of freeing, and now I am not thinking about it 24/7.

Congrats on the 170's. You will reach your goal of 175 in no time. I have 3 more official days, but the manual says to go 3 shots after your period. Mine usually last about 4 days. So I will probably have to inject until Tuesday and that makes P3 on Saturday morning! Can't wait. I hope to lose 2-3 more pounds over that time. So close to 150. If losses are still strong then I might go until I hit 150.

What size did you start at and what are you at now?

  3. You know, I was in an xlarge of everything. 16's probably. I'm still in them. Yes, they are baggy and they used to be very tight but to be honest, I cannot tell a huge difference yet in clothes. I swear I lost it all in my face!:) Also, I haven't tried on many different tops because my arms are so fat. I tried on one and didn't really notice a difference so I still just wear the same things over and over and over again. That way I'm not dealing with discouragement. During my life I'm usually an 8 or 10. So, I think the next round will be the "telling" round for me. Funny, I need to get to between 135-140 to be right in the middle of "healthy" (on BMI charts). So, I might be doing 2 more rounds! I'm also trying to be realistic-my body doesn't even KNOW 135! But it does know 140. I would like to be 145. We'll see...

  4. Congrats on the weight loss! When I do my second round, hopefully I'll be able to break into the normal range for my BMI.

Thanks for keeping such a detailed account of what you ate during your P3 phase. I start tomorrow and have been worried/terrified of gaining back all the weight.

    Good luck!

  5. Good luck Sandy! P3 can be scary, but just follow the rules and you should be fine. Keep your protein high. I try to have 20-30 grams in each of my main meals. Drink lots of water. Get some fresh air. And only add things a little at a time to see if you have a reaction. I am so excited to get back on P3 in a few days!!!
