R3 P2 D4...

Lost -4.4 lbs!! Yeah!! So first day vlcd and I am back under start weight by .4! Yesterday wasn't too bad. Couple times I got hungry, so today I upped my dose just slightly to see if that helps. It is a little difficult to go back to such boring food, but I can do anything for 23 days right! ;)

Here is what I ate today:

1/4 apple, 1/2 breadstick, tea

1/4 apple, 1/2 breadstick

chicken, romaine, 1/2 apple

1/2 breadstick, tea

tilapia, asparagus, 1/2 fried apple with lemon juice and cinnamon

1/2 breadstick, 1/2 apple, "cream soda"

Not much going on. Tried a slightly higher dose to see if hunger was better. It was pretty good. I could not tell if it was much different, but tomorrow I will go up just enough more that it would be .6 instead of .5. Today I tried 5.5 instead of 5.0. I am missing my In-n-Out burgers!! And my almond flour treats :) Time always drags during p2....... hurry up already! Deciding wether I want to try my fage experiment tomorrow. I will do my jay robb shake for 1 meal for sure.

  1. Holy Smokes!!! That's awesome. I lost 3.6 (to 140.4). I was hoping for more but oh well. Yesterday was tough, I couldn't wait for the day to be over. I feel sore from my work out yesterday, but this round I am going to try and maintain some muscle soreness through out. I am accustomed to that, but also as I said I don't dare lose muscle. I have a race at the end of P3, so I want to be strong and LEAN!!!!

    Jen I remember last round you expieremented with location of injection, can you remind me what worked for you with that regard. I carry my weight around my thighs and butt, so the first two I did stomach (comfortable with that location, however there isn't that much to grab on my stomach), so I used the my back side for the last two days, but I vaguely recall that leading to more hungry for me last time..... I took some appetite suppresants this morning, got a busy day which should help too!

    Good job again. (oh yesterday I ate, 1/2 grapefruit before 1 hour w/o, then 3.5 ounce (weighed raw) bison and 1/4 cucumber. Supper was 2 ounces cooked mahi mahi and 1/2 cup steamed spinach. Dessert was a club soda.

  2. Hey 3.6lbs is pretty awesome!! It wasn't too bad yesterday, but I definitely need to find things to stay busy or this will kill me with the day dragging on and on! I am going to get back to some exercise and really light weights, so hopefully that won't affect my losses.

    I did stomach my first round. Lost everything off the top mostly. I tried doing the thigh second round to see if it would come off the bottom more that way. I did lose more off the bottom, but I think that would have happened anyway due to not having much more to lose off the top :) But I definitely was more hungry when doing it in the thigh. I am going to do stomach again this time. I have heard that IM in the deltoid works well, but my needles are the short insulin ones and it is a little more painful. I carry my weight in the butt and thighs. Stomach is the smallest part of me. My waist starting this round is 28.5, but the widest part of me around the top of the thighs just under the butt is 40.5!

    Looking at your food yesterday I noticed you don't do your second fruit or your breadsticks. I think these would be very important especially with your workouts. I usually eat my breadsticks for the first 10-14 days and then try eliminating them when the losses slow down. I break 1 apple into 1/4's and my breadsticks in half. Then I have 1/2 breadstick with a 1/4 apple and tea mid morning and mid afternoon leaving 1/2 apple for lunch. Then I still have one full fruit for dinner and a breadstick for whenever I am feeling hungry. I did do the club soda with vanilla stevia at dinner :)

  3. Opps. I forgot, I did have an apple for a snack at about 2:30 or so!
    If I remain hungry I will switch to the delt. I give myself b12 shots there with out issue, so I can do that.
    I can't eat bread sticks anyway (allergic) so I tried rice crackers last time, and this time I am just going to try and go without.
    On wednesday and thursday and I going to have 1 ounce of protein before work outs and move the fruit closer to those (they both will take me over an hour). Next week I might need to add the carb gel (100 calories, and contains 20 grams carb...about the same as an apple). We shall see.....
